Visitors can't click on it because it just didn't show up in the top menu bar.

Many novice WordPress users believe that publishing a new page automatically puts it in the menu. Although this feature can be turned on, it is highly not recommended from a professional point of view (because it leads to chaos and an overcrowded header in no time). You have to build the menu logically by hand. Let’s show you how to get your new site out in just 3 minutes!

Step by step: Add and sort items in the menu

1. Navigate to Menus settings In the black admin bar on the left, move the mouse to the Appearance (Appearance), and then click Menus submenu. [Screenshot location: Highlighted in the left menu bar is the Appearance / Menus option]

2. Select the menu you want to edit There may be several menus on a website (e.g. main menu in the header and another menu at the bottom of the footer of the GTC). From the "Select the menu you want to edit" drop-down list at the top of the page, select the one you want to change (usually Main Menu, Main menu or Primary Navigation name), then press the Select button. [Screenshot location: The top drop-down list with the Select button]

3. Add your new page. On the left side of the screen, you’ll see the “Add Menu Items” box.

Click on Pages tab.

If you don’t see your new page right away, click on the “Show all” or “Search” tab.

Check the small box next to your newly created page.

Click on Add to menu button. [Screenshot location: The Pages box on the left, ticked a page and pointing an arrow to the Add button]

4. Set the order and submenus (Take and drop) Your new menu item has appeared in the “Menu structure” list on the right side of the screen, at the bottom.

Click on it, hold down the mouse and simply drag it to the right place (above or below).

To create a submenu: If you want your new page to be a different menu item (e.g. “Services”) under open, drag it under the Services, and then swipe a little to the right. The box jumps inwards and displays the inscription “submenu item”. [Screenshot location: The menu structure where an item is just dragged to the right to become a submenu]

5. Save the menu. When you're done sorting, don't forget to press the blue in the lower right (or upper right) corner Save Menu button. Without it, your modifications will be lost!

💡 Pro Tip: How do I add an external link to the menu?

Do you want to add your Facebook page or a partner company's website to the main menu? In the add-on panel on the left, under the Pages, you will find a Specific references (Custom Links) tab. Here you just need to copy the exact URL of the external website (e.g. https://facebook.com/teoldalad), and in the "Reference text" field, enter what should appear as the button (e.g. Facebook), then you can go to the Add to menu button!

Has nothing changed on the website or does your menu manager look different?

State-of-the-art, premium websites (made with, for example, full site editing, so-called FSE technology, or custom Bricks Builder headers) can sometimes override the traditional menu manager.

If you saved by following the steps above, but the header on your website has not been updated, or the setup interface looks completely different for you, open a ticket in the peterteszary.com ticket manager interface and I will immediately help you customize your navigation!

You created the perfect new subpage, pressed the Publish button, and then you update your website, but... you can't find it anywhere.

Megírtam az új oldalt, de hol van? – A navigációs menü (Fejléc) szerkesztése lépésről lépésre - peterteszary.com
Létrehoztad a tökéletes új aloldalt, rányomtál a Közzététel gombra, majd frissíted a weboldaladat, de... sehol sem találod."},"_slim_seo_primary_term_sgkb-docs-category":586
[586

post-5514","sgkb-docs","type-sgkb-docs","status-publish","hentry","sgkb-docs-category-wordpress-alapok-tartalomkezeles
["GET
