What do I do for your website every month?
I don't "just click on the update button". WordPress maintenance is a complex process that I do professionally – so you don’t care, but your site is always safe and fast.
Maintenance tasks (monthly):
1. WordPress Core Update
Upgrade your WordPress core to the latest version. Security improvements, performance optimization, new features. Frequency: 1x per month (or when a new version is available)
2. Plugin and theme updates
Upgrade all plugins and themes to the latest version. Test after update (so as not to crash the page). Frequency: 2x a month (depending on how many plugins there are)
3. Security monitoring
Continuous monitoring: malware scan, blacklist check, detect suspicious files. If a hack happens, I'll signal and block it immediately. Frequency: 0-24 automatic monitoring
4. Automatic backup
Weekly full backup (database + files). If anything goes wrong, I'll get the page back to its last working version within an hour. Frequency: 1x a week (4x a month)
5. Database optimization
Cleaning WordPress Database: Delete old revisions, spam comments, transients. Faster database = faster website. Frequency: 1x per month
6. Delete and Check Cache
Cache plugin checking, deleting (if necessary), re-generating. If something is not updated on the site, the cache may be the reason. Frequency: 1x per month (or on demand)
7. SSL certificate renewal
Verify the automatic renewal of an SSL certificate. If SSL → "This page is not secure" warning → 0 visitors expires. Frequency: Every three months (automatic, but check)
8. PageSpeed and Core Web Vitals
Every month I check the speed of the website (PageSpeed Insights, Core Web Vitals). If it slows down, I'll optimize it. Frequency: 1x per month
9. Uptime monitoring (is the page available?)
Continuous monitoring: Does the site work? If it stops → I will be notified immediately and fix the error. Frequency: 0-24 automatic monitoring
10. Monthly report
At the end of each month, you will receive a report: what I did, what updates there were, if there was a security incident, what is a PageSpeed score. Frequency: 1x per month (end of month)

Frequently Asked Questions about Maintenance
1. Why do I have to pay monthly? Can't you have an annual subscription?
It can also be an annual subscription (10% with a discount). But the monthly subscription is more flexible – if you are not satisfied, you can stop at any time.
2. What if something goes wrong after the update?
I make a backup before each update. If something goes wrong, I'll get it back to the last working version in an hour. You can't lose anything.
3. Do I have to pay extra for backup or SSL?
No, I don't. The package price is fixed – everything I have written is included. There is no hidden cost.
4. What if you don't have time to read the monthly report?
It's all right. The report will be there if you're interested. Even if you don't, I know everything's fine.
5. Can I withdraw from the contract at any time?
Yes. No long-term contract – regular monthly assignment. If you are not satisfied, you can stop it at any time (with 30 days' notice).
6. What if the website has already been hacked?
Then you first need to "save" (antivirus, restore) – this is a separate hourly task (HUF 15,000/hour). Then there's maintenance.
7. How many plugins are on your site? Does it affect the price?
The Basic package is designed for 5-15 plugins, Profi 15-30 plugins, Premium 30+ plugins. If there's more than that, I'll give you a unique quote.
8. Does it include the cost of hosting and domain?
No, I don't. The hosting and domain fees are paid separately to the service provider. Maintenance is just taking care of your WordPress site.
9. What if I want a new feature on the site?
The new feature development is not included in the maintenance. But I undertake it on an hourly basis (15,000 HUF/hour) or at a fixed price (offer).
10. How long does it take to start maintenance?
Immediately. We'll contact you, discuss the details, sign the contract, and maintenance has already begun.
