Why can't you find a developer for small tasks?
"Too small a project, not worth it"
An hour's work? Two hours of work? Most developers do not do it because it is ‘too small’. Or you do, but you charge 50,000 HUF for a one-hour task
You don't know how much it costs
‘How much does it cost to update a plugin?’ ‘How much does it cost to add a button?’ No one tells you in advance. “Send us everything and we'll get you a quote.
It takes weeks to complete a 30-minute task.
You write to a developer that you need a quick fix. Answer: “I can look at it in 2 weeks”. But you need it now, not in two weeks.
What do you get with hourly development?
1. Fixed hourly rate – 15 000 HUF/hour
Not ‘I'll tell you how much it costs’. Fixed 15.000 HUF/hour. If I worked 2 hours → 30.000 Ft. If I worked 5 hours → 75,000 Ft. No surprises.
2. Accurate hourly estimate - Know in advance how much it will cost
Before I start, I will tell you how long it will take (e.g. “This will be about 2-3 hours”). So you know in advance how much it costs.
3. Minimum 1 hour – You do not have to pay for the whole day
If you work 30 minutes → you pay 1 hour (15,000 HUF). If you pay 1.5 hours → 1.5 hours (HUF 22.500). There is no ‘minimum 8 hours’ obligation.
4. Rapid reaction – 24-48 hours
If you write → I will contact you within 24-48 hours (working days). You don't have to wait weeks for a quick fix.
5. Transparent invoicing - Hours of work report
At the end of the session, you will receive a report: How much time I worked, what I did. Every hour is documented.

How much does hourly development cost?
Fixed hourly rate, transparent billing.

How does hourly development work? (5 steps)
1 email per week that can be read in 5 minutes – and you can do it right away.
1. Write to me (email, form, phone)
Briefly describe what you want (e.g. ‘Contact form not working’, ‘You should have a new button on the main page’). The more detailed it is, the more accurate the hourly estimate I can give you.
2. Clock estimate (within 24-48 hours)
I'll respond within 24 to 48 hours and say: approx. how many hours will it take to complete the task (e.g. “This will be approx. 2-3 hours, i.e. 30.000-45.000 HUF”).
3. Approval and advance (50%)
If we agree on 50% advance payment to start the work. (E.g. if 3 hours = 45.000 HUF → 22.500 HUF deposit.)
4. Work and report
I'll do the job, document the hours. When it's done, you'll get a report: what I did, how long it took.
5. Delivery and final payment (50%)
I'll give you the finished work. You'll pay the other 50.%. It's done!
Frequently asked questions about hourly development
1. Why is it worth it on an hourly basis and not at a fixed price?
On an hourly basis, it is worth it when it comes to small tasks (1-10 hours). A fixed price package is better if you have a larger project (20+ hours), because there you get a fixed price, there is no hourly billing.
2. How much does a plugin update cost?
Approximately 1 hour (15,000 HUF). Includes: backup, plugin update, testing to see if everything works, newer backup.
3. How much does it cost to troubleshoot?
Depends on the complexity of the error. Simple error (e.g. plugin conflict): 1-2 hours (15,000-30,000 HUF). Complicated error (e.g. hack after recovery): 6-10 hours (90.000-150.000 HUF).
4. Do I have to pay an advance?
Yes, 50% advance payment at start of work, 50% after the handover. This is standard practice.
5. What if the work takes longer than the hourly estimate?
If the time estimate was 2-3 hours, but it took 4 hours → we will discuss it in advance! I'm not going to work 10 hours without telling you. If we overestimate the clock, we'll discuss whether to continue or stop.
6. Can I pay by installment?
In case of hourly work there is no payment in instalments (because usually smaller amounts). Payment in instalments is only available for fixed-price projects.
7. How much is the minimum reservation?
Minimum of 1 hour (15,000 HUF). If you work 30 minutes, you pay 1 hour. If you pay 1.5 hours → 2 hours (30,000 Ft).
8. How long will it take you to answer?
Within 24-48 hours (working days). If it is urgent, please let me know and I will try to respond more quickly.
9. Do you work on weekends or at night?
I usually work on weekdays (8:00-18:00), but in urgent cases I can do it on weekends or in the evening (but this is +25% surcharge, i.e. 18.750 HUF/hour).
10. What if I'm not happy with the job?
If I made a technical error (e.g. I made a mistake) → I will fix it for free. If the result isn't what you expected (but it's technically good) → we'll discuss how to change it.
